Wei-Hao Wu  (he/him)

B.Ed., M.Ed., RP
NARM Therapist
NARM Level 2 Training Assistant

Welcome! I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO #13587). I hold a Master's degree (M.Ed.) in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa. Before my graduate studies, I worked as a school counsellor for over four years, specializing in supporting adolescents.

In my practice, I utilize the NeuroAffective Relational Model® (NARM™) as the primary framework. This approach allows us to delve into the core of your experiences and uncover what may be holding you back from connecting with yourself and others. Additionally, I integrate other therapeutic approaches such as Existential-Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Attachment-based, Somatic Psychology, and Polyvagal Theory, to tailor the therapy to your unique needs.

I have experience working with clients facing a wide range of challenges, including Complex and Childhood Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Self-image and Self-esteem Concerns, Relational Difficulties, Attachment Issues, Personality Traits/Adaptations/Disorders (i.e., Borderline, Narcissistic, Schizoid), and more.

As someone who grew up in an Asian cultural background and identifies as part of the LGBTQ+ community, I have a particular passion for addressing Cultural/Cross-cultural Issues, LGBTQ+ Challenges, and the unique experiences faced by minorities.

I am here to provide you with a safe and supportive space where we can work together to explore your concerns, discover your strengths, and empower you to overcome obstacles. Whether you are seeking individual therapy or support for cultural, LGBTQ+, or minority-related issues, I am dedicated to helping you achieve personal growth and well-being.

Feel free to reach out to me, and let's embark on this transformative journey together.
